This policy covers Fish Ledger, also called Fish Weight Ledger or Fish Counting and Weight Ledger (Android package: com.fish.ledger) and its companion web app. Fish Ledger is provided by Rafiqul Islam Rabbi under Elvantro Technologies. Contact: [email protected].

Information used by Fish Ledger

You can use the Android calculator as a guest without creating an account. Ledger sessions, calculations, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

Optional Google sign-in is provided through Firebase Authentication. This processes your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo to authenticate access to your synchronized cloud records. We do not receive or have access to your Google password.

Cloud synchronization stores your ledger session titles, session identifiers, creation and update timestamps, selected weight units, fish counts, weights, and saved row notes in Cloud Firestore under your account. This lets your Android and companion web sessions stay synchronized. Theme and unit preferences are also stored on your device. Please avoid placing confidential personal information in ledger titles or notes.

Advertising and service providers

The Android app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display ads. The SDK may process IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic and performance information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Guest mode does not prevent ad-related data processing. Actual processing depends on your device, consent choices, and Google settings.

Google Firebase provides authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. Google and hosting providers may process technical connection and service logs to operate and secure these services. Authorized operators may access records to resolve support requests or administer the service. Historical subscription, payment, and administrative records may exist for earlier versions; current calculator and cloud-sync access are free.

How information is used and protected

Account and ledger information is used to sign you in, store and synchronize records, provide support, and protect the service. Ad-related information is processed by advertising providers as described above. We do not sell your ledger records. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Cloud connections use encrypted transport, and database access rules restrict ordinary client access to the account owner. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Account deletion, data deletion, and retention

Request deletion at Fish Ledger account and data deletion or email [email protected]. You can request account deletion with associated data, or deletion of ledger data while keeping your account. Use the Google email associated with Fish Ledger and state which option you want. We verify account ownership before taking action; never send your password or sign-in codes.

Account deletion removes the Fish Ledger Firebase authentication account and associated cloud ledger sessions, including records previously marked as deleted. It does not delete your Google account. Data-only deletion removes the requested cloud ledger records while keeping the sign-in account active. Our target is to complete verified requests within 7 business days and confirm completion by email.

Until a deletion request is completed, account and cloud records remain stored to provide the service. Clearing history in the app with 'Clear All Saved Data' currently hides synchronized records using cloud deletion markers; it is not a permanent server purge. For permanent server removal, submit a deletion request here. Deleting cloud records does not automatically remove local data from other devices or copies you exported. Clear Fish Ledger app storage on each device and remove exported files. Offline copies may re-upload if you synchronize them later.

We delete deletion-request correspondence within 30 days after completion, unless a specific legal obligation requires retention. If an exceptional legal or security requirement prevents deletion of particular records, we explain the records, reason, and applicable retention period in our response. Third-party providers control their own independent advertising and operational records; their linked policies and privacy controls apply.

Children and policy updates

Fish Ledger is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us to request removal. We will update this page when our practices change.
